Kappa Alpha Psi Silhouettes

Mission

To provide communication between the Eastern Province Silhouette Coordinator and the Brothers of  the Eastern Province

Current Year 2010-2011 Accomplishments

• The Eastern Province won recognition as the Province with the largest number of financial Silhouettes

• EP Silhouettes donated $1,650 to the Kappa Foundation at the EPC

• Three Eastern Province Silhouettes hold National office:
  Jacquelene Massey – Baltimore – 2nd National Vice President
  Diane Jenkins – Bowie-Mitchellville – Treasurer
  Shirley Pinckney – Hampton-Newport News – Financial Secretary

• Reactivated the Norfolk Silhouette Chapter  for a total of 12 Silhouette Chapters in the Province

• National Silhouettes donated $20,000 to the Kappa Foundation at the Foundation Banquet

Goal for 2011-2012

• Increase Eastern Province membership of financial Silhouettes
• Increase the membership of the Hampton-Newport News Silhouette Chapter

• Increase EP Silhouettes financial donation to the Kappa Foundation

• Become a member of the Million Dollar Club for the Foundation (in the past 2 years, the Eastern Province  Silhouettes have given over  $1,000 annually to the Foundation)

Chapter Activation

• Minimum of 5 Silhouettes

• Minimum cost (currently $10.00 for Province and $20.00 for National)
