Eastern Province Counsel attends Conference at International Headquarters

John T. Henderson, Jr., Esquire, Province Counsel for the Eastern Province and member of the Silver Spring (Md.) Alumni Chapter, attended the first ever joint meeting of province legal counsels at International Headquarters. The joint meeting was held on October 10-11, 2008 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  The goal of the meeting was to further the Grand Polemarch’s goals of implementing the concept of “One Kappa.” Legal counsels from 11 of the 12 provinces attended the meeting.  According to Brother Henderson, “the meeting was very productive and further proved the unyielding commitment of our brothers to work hard to create better systems for our grand fraternity!”

The leader of the meeting, Grand Board member and Grand Board of Appeals chairman Reuben Shelton plans to convene a meeting of the province legal counsels on a regular basis.
