Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. will be holding its 79th Grand Chapter Meeting in the Nation’s Capital from August 4-9, 2009 and the official host chapters are Washington (DC) Alumni Chapter, Howard University - Xi Chapter and Theta Tau Chapter, University of the District of Columbia - Beta Kappa Chapter, and American University Kappa - Chi Chapter. The remaining chapters in the Washington, DC metropolitan area are also playing a significant role in the planning of this grand affair and are co-hosts.

The 2009 Conclave will be held at the beautiful Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, DC and over 5,000 Kappa men are expected to register for this event, including the 10,000 to 15,000 family members and friends coming to the Nation’s Capital to celebrate our 98 years of Achievement.

This letter is to invite you to purchase an ad in the April edition of our award winning Kappa Journal, which will be the Conclave souvenir edition. This souvenir journal will feature our Nation’s Capital, its citizens, friends, corporate sponsors, and our Kappa chapters. We encourage you to purchase an ad in support of our 79th Grand Chapter meeting. The attached sheet lists the ad prices and provides instructions on how to place your ad. ***Early Bird Discount Rate***

Ads for the 79th GCM edition of the Kappa Journal will be discounted if payment is received by October 30, 2008.

Chapters will receive a 30% cost savings on all ads placed and received by the due date.

Discounted rates as follows:
Full Page $1,500 now $1,050
Half Page $800 now $560
1/4 Page $500 now $350

All ads are priced for color or black and write and must be camera ready. Discounted rates will not apply to non-camera ready ads.
