Tour of Historically Black Colleges and Universities

Non-Profit Organizations Sponsor 2nd Annual Day Tour of Historically Black Colleges and Universities, HBCUs

The Prince George’s County Delta Alumnae Foundation and the Prince George’s County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., invite 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students to participate in a chaperoned DAY TOUR of two Historically Black Colleges and Universities on March 14, 2008.

Students will be given the early opportunity to consider their college options by exploring the academic, cultural, and social advantages offered at Coppin State University (Baltimore, Maryland) and Delaware State University (Dover, Delaware).  College officials and students will be available to respond to admission criteria concerns, financial aid resources, courses of study, and more.  Applications from Prince George’s County residents only must be received by February 29, 2008.  Limited seats are available at the cost of $20 per student.
