Open Prayer for the Eastern Province

Open Prayer for the Eastern Province of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

To the Brothers of the Eastern Province;

I greet all of you in that name which is elevated above all names, Christ Jesus. We have experienced more administrative changes within the halls of the Province. I’m reaching out to encourage all of you to continue to pray for the Province and the hands of our new leadership. Keep in mind Brothers, focusing on the UNITY within this clan of Krimson and Kream is our utmost priority. For Psalm 133 says, “Behold how good and pleasant it is for Brethren to dwell together in UNITY.” Therefore, I’m asking all my Brothers of the great Eastern Province to join me in this prayer. Prayer changes things, and it first begin by making changes in us; individually.

God of our Fathers, God of our saving grace, we come before your presence with humbled hearts and bowed down heads seeking your divine grace and mercy for all of our wrong doings. Forgive us this day, as we lift up our voices in UNITY, asking boldly for your wisdom and strength. Father, bless this noble clan of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.; during these difficult times, only you, Father can claim this storm and UNITE us. Reach forth thy hand to uphold us and restore our programmatic foundation of Kappa Alpha Psi. Harden not our hearts, but as we pray specifically for the release of peace, love and UNITY in the Flagship Province; restore the joy and excitement of Brothers bonding together, lifting up the cup of good cheer…to every Brother.

Father, bless the incoming 28th Eastern Province Administration. Bless the leadership to move us beyond these challenges and direct us in the way of a united front. Build this Administration that it will generate and redefine the Brotherly bond of UNITY.

Father, bless the outgoing 26th Eastern Province Administration, and bless the outgoing Polemarch for the notable achievements accomplished.

Now, Father, as we the Brothers of this great clan close this prayer, keep our eyes looking towards the hills for which all of our help and strength comes from. Help us keep our mind focused on You, and You shall keep us in perfect peace. This is our humble prayer, in the matchless name of Jesus the Christ we pray; Amen.
